Snooker Club History

Buckingham Snooker Club was established in 1887. It was first located in what is now Browns Hairdressers and started off with just 1 snooker table which was only three quarter size.

The Snooker Club eventually moved to the Town Hall and purchased a full size snooker table.

Membership gradually increased over the years as Billiards and then Snooker became more and more popular.

In 1987, the Snooker Club was moved to its existing site and increased the number of tables to 4.
